The Ultimate 10-Minute Home Workout – No Equipment Required

Why can exercising regularly seem so difficult to achieve? We KNOW how good it is for us and how wonderful it makes us look and feel, but sometimes it just seems so hard to fit in?  It’s because we have an idea in our heads that it needs to take hours, or even an hour at a time, in a gym with loads of equipment.

The good news is that is simply NOT true! You can exercise at home for 10 minutes a day, using nothing but your own body weight, to see super-fast and effective results. By using a concept called High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) you can create an amazing workout at home. HIIT exercises involve using all the major muscle groups in every exercise and working at a high intensity for short bursts of time.

It is intense and super tiring, but VERY effective. And we can all cope with a little discomfort for 10 minutes! As you get fitter, you can step it up and do the workout twice or even three times for a super lean, mean machine of a body. It’s awesome!

By taking these simple, well-known exercise moves and doing them as fast and well as you can for 45 seconds each, you will be creating a celeb-worthy workout at home. Simple! So, you go for 45 seconds (you can set a timer) and then taking a few deep breaths to recover and moving into the next exercise as fast as you can, your entire body will get a major workout in 10 minutes!

Do 45 seconds each of:

  • Burpees
  • Speed skaters
  • High knees running on spot
  • Squats
  • Jumping jacks
  • Mountain climbers
  • Push-ups
  • Tricep dips
  • Planks
  • Lunges
  • Side plank

Simple huh? But believe me, you will be sweaty and out of breath for just about the whole 10 minutes, but then you’re done, and you can get on with your day, and do it again tomorrow. I have felt a big difference in fitness in as little as a week, so if at first it feels like you’ll never be fit enough to do this easily, do NOT despair and just keep going! You’ll be so happy you did! Well done!
